Swing by today between 1-3 p.m. In honor of the restaurant’s recent Michelin stars, they’re opening up to the public for a cava toast and taste of truffle risotto with burgundy truffles and white truffles. Attendees must be 21 years of age and older.

A weird WikiLeaks reveal

Why is Martin’s Tavern a subject of a WikiLeaks email? It’s nothing scandalous. It’s just an email mentioning that President Barack Obama has not yet visited the historic Georgetown tavern, which has housed ever President since Truman. It’s more likely he’ll visit after his term ends, though, as many have in the past. [WBJ]
