Brand new to the brunch scene: Hazel. The Rob Rubba restaurant in Shaw is now offering a brunch menu with the chef’s take on dim sum. Bacon rolls, curry squash steam buns, and mapo eggs are among the a la carte offerings. The whole menu can be ordered for $99. The service kicked off Sunday. [EaterWire]

Neal Place is coming back to Union Market next year. Gina Chersevani’s outdoor beer garden near Union Market is coming back next spring for another season. The space is primed to soon host the Brewers on the Block event Oct. 22.

Controversies

The Trump Hotel property has been vandalized, with someone spray-painting "Black Lives Matter" and "No Justice No Peace" on the building. There’s Twitter video of the incident.
