A fire broke out in El Ricon Espanol in Adams Morgan this morning. The fire was in the basement and the cause is still being investigated. The restaurant could not immediately be reached to ask about the extent of the damage, but no injuries were reported. [Borderstan]
Breakfast tacos, delivered
Get a sneak peek of the breakfast tacos that the team behind Republic Kolache is developing through UberEats. Starting today, Republic Taco will deliver breakfast tacos from 8-11 a.m. Chef Quinten Frye (Dacha) developed the tacos, served on flour tortillas. They’re planning to next do formal restaurant partnerships and eventually, a brick and mortar. [Washingtonian]
