1. The Eater 38, Fall 2016

The quarterly update for the Eater 38 is here. This time around, three new restaurants were added to the mix. That includes the newly-eligible Tail Up Goat and Espita Mezcaleria, plus returning restaurant Osteria Morini.

2. The Hottest Restaurants in D.C., October 2016

It's time to note the hottest restaurants in D.C. for October. Four additions this time around: HalfSmoke, Little Coco's, Bullfrog Bagels (the new one on Capitol Hill), and Smoked & Stacked.

3. José Andrés a Big Winner on D.C.'s First Michelin ‘Bib Gourmand’ List

Michelin's first group of "bib gourmand" restaurants (essentially their version of cheap eats) has been revealed. There were 19 restaurants that made the cut in D.C.'s first year. Many are international restaurants serving cuisines like Lao, Ethiopian, and Spanish. Restaurateur José Andrés snagged four different nods, too.

5. Ten Restaurants Have Opened Around D.C. This Week

Lots of new restaurants to talk about this week. There was seafood den and steakhouse Ocean Prime, the second location of Ambar, sausage restaurant HalfSmoke and even rolled ice cream for Rockville.
