2) Culinary Historians of Washington

What: This month’s lecture will be centered around the historic search for “nutrient dense foods.”

3) Emporiyum

What: Tons of marquee vendors, from Shake Shack and Buredo to Milk Bar and Honest Tea Company, make up this annual food market event. Tickets are $15-$25. More info here.

4) Brooklyn Brewery Beer dinner

What: The renowned New York brewery heads to DC for a four-course meal with pairings. Info here.

5) Fair Winds Veterans Day Celebration

What: The Lorton-based brewery will have free beers for veterans. They also have been encouraging customers to write thank you notes for the veterans, which they’ll hand out Friday from noon onwards. Info here.
