The Twisted Horn Will Become Hank’s Cocktail Bar

But not much else is changing

Hank’s Cocktail Bar

Petworth bar The Twisted Horn is being rebranded.

The bar, which is owned by chef Jamie Leeds and her JL Restaurant Group, will now be known as Hank’s Cocktail Bar. The name better clarifies the bar’s relationship to such restaurants as Hank’s Oyster Bar (which has three locations) and Hank’s Pasta Bar (which also opened this year).

Despite the name change, much is staying the same at the neighborhood bar, located on a block that also houses such destinations as Petworth Citizen and the new Japanese restaurant Himitsu. Hank’s Cocktail Bar will stick with the same food and drink offerings that The Twisted Horn had, and keep the popular patio garden. But a spokesperson says the animal heads decorating the space are coming down, and the cocktail prices are dropping as well.

The bar opened back in January at 819 Upshur St. NW. It will be closed Mondays, and have daytime hours on the weekend.
