1) ROCKVILLE: Expect a location of Mission Barbecue to open in Rockville’s Wintergreen plaza next year. The chain has been expanding in the area, particularly in Maryland. [PLYWOOD]

2) COLUMBIA HEIGHTS: Also in barbecue news, Jenkins Capital BBQ will fill a space formerly occupied by a Ruby Tuesday’s. It sounds like it’s connected to a restaurant out of Florida. [PLYWOOD]

3) ADAMS MORGAN: Cuban fare is on the way to 2309 18th St. NW; the restaurant is named Barada. [PLYWOOD]

4) ALEXANDRIA: Old Town is getting a Taco Bell, if a proposal goes through. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

5) WHEATON: Afghan chain Grill Kabob will set up shop in Wheaton Plaza. This will be the third outpost in Montgomery County. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

6) BROOKLAND: French restaurant Primrose will open at 3000-3002 12th St., NE. The plan is to emphasize wine there. [PLYWOOD]

7) BALLSTON: Coming to Arlington: Stageplate Bistro. Find it at 900 N. Glebe Road, serving up American fare (likely opening next year). [PLYWOOD]
