Though winter doesn’t tend to be the most jam-packed of the seasons, it still looks to be offering quite a few restaurant debuts this time around. But which has readers most intrigued? There are projects from local chefs like Erik Bruner-Yang, Mike Isabella, and Hamilton Johnson, anticipated second locations like the DC Sugar Shack and Colada Shop locations, new homes for lauded chefs like Frank Ruta, and much more.

Take this reader poll to weigh in on the restaurants and bars that are worth getting excited about in the colder months. Don’t see a favorite? Share in the comments below.

Note that this poll does not include restaurants that have opened before the first day of winter, or now look on track to do so (such as the MGM Casino restaurants and Fabio Trabocchi’s Sfoglina). Consult Eater’s Winter Openings Guide for all the intel on when restaurants are projecting to open this coming season.
