Restaurant Week Adds Brunch; Stanton & Greene Changes Theme

U STREET—1905 is adding a day to its brunch service. The rooftop favorite will now offer the meal on Saturdays (in addition to its current Sunday and Tuesday evening offerings). It all kicks off Dec. 10. [EaterWire]

CAPITOL HILL—Bar Stanton & Greene is changing up its format. The bar will now reposition itself as a craft cocktail bar with an Americana-type theme. Cocktails will each be inspired by Bill of Rights amendments, and draw on historic recipes from people like Benjamin Franklin and Martha Washington. The bar originally opened with less of a theme to its menu, though its decor invoked transportation. [EaterWire]

MT. VERNON TRIANGLE—Hotspot RPM Italian (which has received two visits from The First Lady in recent months) is launching weekday lunch. They’ll offer focaccia sandwiches, new salads, and some of their dinner entree items, like pastas and seafood dishes. [EaterWire]

MULTIPLE LOCATIONS—The dates are set for the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington’s Winter Restaurant Week. The promotion will run from Jan. 30-Feb. 5, and this time around they’ll offer $22 brunch menus in addition to the lunch and dinner promotions. [EaterWire]
