Sticking around the area for the Christmas holidays? Or perhaps back home visiting family? Whatever the situation there’s sometimes the need for an escape, an evening off, if you will — specifically one with good cocktails. If this sounds about right then there’s good news ahead: There are so many D.C. area bars open on Christmas eve. Even better, some will feature special Saturday happy hour deals.
Miracle on 7th Street, the popular pop-up holiday bar split across Mockingbird Hill, Eat the Rich and Southern Efficiency in Shaw, will be open to help patrons get even further into the holiday spirit. Meanwhile, over on 14th Street, Black Jack’s new spinoff Tilt will serve “seasonal” cocktails. And there’s always Jack Rose Dining Saloon, in Adams Morgan, which will be featuring a Saturday holiday happy hour for discounted food and drinks.
