A Bar with Bowling, New Mexican, And Other Restaurant Construction Updates

Plywood Report features a juice bar and more as well

1) NAVY YARD: The Juice Laundry will open at The Yards development sometime this spring. Beyond juice, it will also specialize in raw foods, acai bowls, and smoothies. [PLYWOOD]

2) ATLAS DISTRICT: Borderstan spies paperwork indicating the owners behind DGS Delicatessen will open a neighborhood bar on H Street. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

3) PETWORTH: The team behind popular food truck DC Empanadas will open up a Mexican place called Taqueria del Barrio at 821 Upshur St., NW. (where Domku used to be). They’ll make their own tortillas, too. [PLYWOOD]

4) ARLINGTON: Chain bar and entertainment venue Punch Bowl Social will open somewhere in Arlington (there’s bowling and an arcade), though not until 2018. There are locations of the concept in several cities, ranging from Austin to Indianapolis. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

5) CLEVELAND PARK: Looks like Heritage India is getting another new home. PoPville spies signage for the shuttered restaurant reopening at 3238 Wisconsin Avenue, NW at Macomb. [PLYWOOD]
