Luciano Italian Pizza's Tysons Corner Center location has closed.

"After 42+ years serving our friends and family at this location we had reached the end of our leasing agreement," a rep confirmed via Facebook. "We cherish the many fond memories we have been a part of over the years. We realize that several generations of Northern Virginians grew up with our NY style Pizza and pastas as a Tysons Corner staple, so we are inviting all our patrons to visit our Fair Oaks location...I know that all of our staff hope to see them again soon."

Fans have been mourning the loss on the forum (as well as other now-shuttered restaurants of times past).

There are several other locations around town, in such neighborhoods as Fairfax and Oakton. The shuttered location was within the mall itself.
