Where to Watch the Democratic Debate in D.C.

Nothing says "D.C." like getting friends together at a bar to watch a political event like a Presidential debate or the State of the Union. Here are some solid options where enthusiasts or jeerers can watch the Democratic candidates face off this evening:

1831 Bar &  Lounge

The deal: DC for Bernie is hosting this watch party starting at 7 p.m. Drink specials on beer, wine, select whiskey, and margaritas will last until 8 p.m. More information is available here.

The deal: Bidwell has been showing every debate, paired with themed drink specials (think Democratic Mules).

The deal: Clinton supporters should head to this watch party starting at 8:30 p.m. There will be happy hour specials on food and drinks all night.

The deal: The Spanish restaurant will screen the debate with unlimited tapas & drinks. For $45 (excluding tax and gratuity) political junkies can enjoy unlimited tapas and drinks like draft beer and red, white, or seasonal sangria. Reservations are required.
