1) Murakami Literary Cocktails
What: Sherry expert Chantal Tseng will be back behind the bar for her literary cocktail series in the Reading Room. Author Haruki Murakami is the inspiration for the drinks this time. Find more information here.

2) Go-Go Brunch
What: DJ Smudge spins go-go music during brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the first Sunday of every month. The restaurant is extending brunch until 5 p.m. this week for Super Bowl Sunday.

3) Ice Cream Cake Decorating Workshop
What: During the three-hour class, each participant will work with buttercream and practice making chocolate designs. Everyone will decorate their own four-inch mini ice cream cake with three-dimensional chocolate designs to take home. They'll also receive a sundae to eat during the class. Tickets ($45) are available here.

4) Port City's Fifth Anniversary Party
What: There will be live music and beer and food available for purchase. Food trucks like Ada's Kitchen on Wheels, Borinquen Lunch Box, DC Slices and Rocklands BBQ will be on site.

5) Mardi Gras Celebration
What: Black Jack will celebrate Mardi Gras with four days of festivities beginning on Saturday with local band Swagfunk performing from 4 to 8 p.m. The space will be decorated in the typical color of purple, green, and gold and the menu will feature New Orleans-themed food a drink items.
