Pasta Mia is closing in Adams Morgan this month after more than 20 years in business.
PoPville noticed a "for lease" sign in the window, and Borderstan confirmed with the owner that the closure will happen sometime this month.
The restaurant at 1790 Columbia Road's future has been uncertain for some time. In 2014, it was expected to close but the owner was granted a lease extension.
Pasta Mia was known for drawing lines out the door before opening (standing in line at least once was kind of a D.C. ritual for some people in the restaurant's heyday).
