Frito Pie Alert: Find It at the BBQ Joint's Takeout Window, Starting Tonight

Frito Pie has arrived. The regional junk food favorite (fritos topped with chili and cheese) is a rarity in D.C., but the new 14th Street location of The BBQ Joint opens its takeout window tonight, selling the pies for $6 from midnight until 3 a.m. Andrew Evans' version features onions, jalapeno and sour cream.

The BBQ Joint recently opened its latest location at 2005 14th St. NW. The bar has $10 cocktails, and plenty of beer. The full menu is below.
