Pizza chain Naked Pizza is getting NKD.
The restaurant is rebranding today sans vowels. It will reopen its four Virginia locations with a more contemporary look, plus some menu changes. They have a new ten grain crust that uses ancient grains, as well as a new tomato sauce.
The restaurant is giving away a free pizza to guests from noon to 9 p.m. today in Ballston (the other locations will offer the deal Wednesday for carryout). NKD Pizza can be found in Ballston, Pentagon City, Reston and McLean.
