Vegas No-Go

José Andrés’ Las Vegas carb emporium Ku Noodle will close on April 1st, reports Eater Las Vegas. While DC's favorite chef still has four eateries in Vegas — including Bazaar Meat — it's unclear what will replace this restaurant at SLS Las Vegas. [Eater Las Vegas]

UberEATS Uber ... Alles?

Delivery food fans now have another option. Uber will now deliver from select DC restaurants to all of DC, reports Washington Business Journal. All day, choose from the full menus of about 100 restaurants — delivery estimates are 30-40 minutes. Uber collects a $4.99 delivery fee. [WBJ]

Goodbye Steakhouse

19th St. NW steakhouse Smith and Wollensky is now closed — per a print-out sign on its door, reports Borderstan. Exact reason isn't totally clear but the blog was told from upper management — remember, it's a chain — that it was a business decision. [Borderstan]

Peep These Peeps

Hot off the peep-making-machine — The Washington Post has announced the winners of the (10th!) annual peep diorama contest. Unsurprisingly, top prize went to a decidedly topical creation: the brain of presidential candidate Donald Trump, re-imagined much like the command center from last year's hit Pixar film Inside Out.
