Anxo Cidery and Pintxos Bar has a new chef before the space even opens.
Chef Alex Vallcorba has been promoted to executive chef for the upcoming Basque-influenced restaurant and cidery. He has worked with the team since its first pop-up in July. Vallcorba's resume includes stints at Obelisk, 2Amys and Hank's Oyster Bar, among other restaurants.
Chef Brad Walker has left the project. The chef said in a statement, "I have come to the difficult decision to part ways with ANXO. I absolutely wish them the best of luck in their efforts and look forward to the opening."
