Jackie's is officially closing tonight.
Regular service actually ended last night. Tonight the restaurant will host a closing party starting at 6 p.m. There's no cover, but there's a buffet available for $20 and open bar for $30. Live music will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Owner Jackie Greenbaum announced the decision to close back in January. It coincideswith the opening of her upcoming Italian project, Little Coco's at 3907 14th St. NW next spring.
Jackie's and its popular bar, Sidebar, operated for 11 years at 8081 Georgia Ave in Silver Spring. Greenbaum is also behind other local restaurants like El Chucho, Slash Run, and Bar Charley.
