Andrew Evans' BBQ Joint is Open on 14th Street

Andrew Evans' latest location of The BBQ Joint is officially open on 14th Street.

The Easton-based restaurant, which also has a location at Union Market, is located at 2005 14th St. NW. Head there for ribs in particular: Evans tells Eater that "House of Cards" fan will appreciate the quality. The chef even has a red light outside the restaurant that he puts on when the ribs are "perfect" (45 minutes after coming out of the smoker). The restaurant also smokes its own pastrami and its own ham for Rachel and Cubano sandwiches.

The restaurant opens at 4 p.m. weekdays and noon on weekends.
