The Majestic Cafe Closes to Revamp, Plus More Intel

Majestic Cafe in Old Town Alexandria is closing to make way for (another) revamp. It will reopen May 15 as just The Majestic, and get an interior design update and menu change. Alexandria Restaurant Partners (Palette 22, Lena's) are behind the changes, and chef Gaby Hakman will redesign the menu with more Mediterranean touches and a new rotisserie. David Chennault will handle the redesign.

Shake Shack, going strong
