1) Sakura Matsuri

What: This celebration of Japanese culture (and food) in honor of the National Cherry Blossom Festival moves to a new location this year in Navy Yard.

When: Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Where: M Street and New Jersey Ave. SE in Navy Yard

2) Truckeroo returns

What: The Navy Yard food truck-fest comes back for the season.

When: Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Where: The Bullpen, 1299 Half Street SE

3) DC Brau Five-Year Anniversary

What: Live music, five collaborative brews and more will all be on hand for the brewery's party, with The Sword headlining.

When: Saturday, starting at 1 p.m.

4) Cochon 555

What: The annual pig fest facing top chefs against each other returns to D.C.

When: Sunday, 5 p.m.

Where: Union Market Dock 5, 1309 5th St. NE

5) Pike Rose Pig Roast

What: The Maryland development hosts a block party with roast pig with sidewalk sales and other events, too.

When: Sunday, 12-4 p.m.

Where: Pike & Rose, 11580 Old Georgetown Road, Rockville, Md.
