Crane & Turtle Closed Last Night, But The Space is Hosting Pop-Ups

It's a week of passion projects, and then an Anxo hosting

Crane & Turtle served its last meals over the weekend.

But the space will still have some life in it before the owners revitalize it with a new concept. First up is a week of pop-up events curated by the former restaurant's staff members. Then, the upcoming Anxo Cidery & Pintxos Bar will host a pop-up there from May 4-15, serving up a variety of the basque snacks with drinks.

The Japanese-French restaurant is closing because the chefs behind it are relocating to New York. The owners eventually plan to open a different restaurant there, but no timeline has been given yet.
