Longtime Georgetown haunt Bistro Français will close its doors next month.
The closure comes after 41 years in business. The owner tells Washington City Paper that he's ready to retire, but also notes that, "Georgetown isn't what it used to be," in his view.
The restaurant was located at 3124 M St. NW. It was for years a favorite among D.C. chefs due to its late hours. The closure will come sometime around May 22.
