EVENT PLANNING— Food personality Anthony Bourdain will soon be on tour promoting his latest book. He'll stop in D.C. October 27 at DAR Constitution Hall. [E]

ARLINGTON— Locally-based delivery service Dr. Delivery has shut down. The service was early to market, starting in 2001, and has ceased all operations. [ARLNOW]

BRIGHTWOOD— Ooh's and Aah's has filed a permit to build a location in Brightwood at the Wal-Mart building. The original location of the soul food favorite is on U Street. [WBJ]
