Duck Duck Goose is inching closer towards opening in Bethesda.
Owner Ashish Alfred, who also operates 4935 Bar & Kitchen, tells Eater the new restaurant could open in about two weeks. It's replacing Brasserie Monte Carlo, which shuttered back in August.
The chef is still fine-tuning the dishes for the French brasserie concept, which will be centered around small plates. He plans to draw on his training at the French Culinary Institute, as well as his time spent cooking in New York restaurants, to design the menu.
