Still haven't made it to that New York transplant's arrival that D.C. obsessed over last fall? This week is a good time to give Momofuku CCDC a try, since today marks the launch of their new happy hour. They're supposed to post the day's specials on the website, but expect discounted buns, $5 beers and more. Just try to sneak out of work a little early to get there right at 5  — things wrap up by 6:30.

Friday Night Drink Food: The BBQ Joint

Decide to keep going after that Momofuku happy hour? If Friday night meant bar hopping, close out the evening by checking out The BBQ Joint's takeout frito pie window, which opens at 11 p.m. this evening. For those who decided to wrap things up earlier, there are always ribs to offer at the Andrew Evans restaurant at any time.

Get a group of girlfriends together to devour a pasta sampler. What, there are carb-phobic friends out there? Hank's still has some entrees to offer, as well as solid cheese and charcuterie choices.

Saturday night with the bros: Crisp Kitchen + Bar

Round up the guys and get a sense of what Bloomingdale has to offer. One fun option: Crisp Kitchen for drinks and some killer fried chicken, particularly in sandwich form. Even better: make it a crawl — Bloomingdale has several great bars to consider.

Sunday Brunch: Ocopa

Atlas District Peruvian restaurant Ocopa is just one recent addition to the Eater Brunch Map, highlighting the hottest new brunches in town.
