1) COLUMBIA HEIGHTS— New Columbia Heights reports Reliable Tavern is making construction progress at 3655 Georgia Ave NW. There's a new awning and changes to the exterior. It's the latest project from Joe Englert, owner of many other nightlife destinations around town. [PLYWOOD]

2) SHAW— Sugar Shack Donuts reveals via Twitter that another shop will open at 1932 9th Street NW. It's the first D.C. location for the Virginia-based chain. Expect late night hours for the bar and music show goers. [PLYWOOD]

3) K STREET— It looks like Ray's Hell Burger finally has some signage, according to PoPville. The restaurant opened last October after a long delay. [PLYWOOD]

4) ECKINGTON— Qualia Coffee is coming to the Gale development at 151 Q St. NE, according to the Don Rockwell forum. The shop's first location is in Petworth. [PLYWOOD]

5) ATLAS DISTRICT— District Cuisine says the third location of Turning Natural is coming to 1380 H St. NE. The local juice bar already operates in Maryland and Anacostia, serving juices, smoothies, and cleanses. [PLYWOOD]
