Jack Rose bartender and Dram & Grain co-founder Trevor Frye is leaving the whiskey destination to open his own bar — also in Adams Morgan.
The bar will be called Marble Alley, though a lease for the exact location is still being finalized, according to The Washington Post. He says the bar will be casual and comfortable, and could open by late fall.
His last day at Jack Rose will be June 7. Lots of changes are ahead for the destination whiskey bar and adjoining speakeasy, as Dram & Grain's Lukas Smith is also transitioning to a new role at Cotton & Reed soon.
