Lei'd Will Bring Fast-Casual Poke to Virginia

It's the latest from the team behind Chasin' Tails

Fast-casual poke is coming to the region.

Happy Endings Hospitably (the restaurant group behind Chasin’ Tails and Roll Play) will open Lei’d at 8032 Leesburg Pike in Vienna near Tysons Corner.

Diners will design customizable poke bowls from different bases (white sushi rice, brown rice, and salad mix), sides (cucumbers, white onions, crab salad, seaweed salad, and avocado), sauces (sesame shoyu, spicy mayo, cilantro lime, and wasabi aioli), and toppings (scallions, fried scallions, masago, ginger, wasabi, wasabi peas, furikake, sesame seeds, peanuts, and basil).

The group hopes to open in mid-November or early December of this year. Their forthcoming tea house Teas N’ You will open in the same building.

Poke, the Hawaiian raw fish dish, has been taking both the D.C. area and the nation at large by storm. The dish can be found everywhere from Hula Girl to the District Fishwife, and a new poke pop-up has come to the area as well.
