1) BETHESDA: Food Wine & Co. has closed after six years in operation to make way for development, according to Facebook. Bethesda Magazine reports Carr Properties plans to demolish the building to make way for a new housing and hotel project. Owner Francis Namin also owns other Maryland restaurants like Fish Taco and Don Pollo.
2) PENN QUARTER: Poste Moderne Brasserie is officially closing today. The restaurant inside the Hotel Monaco announced in March that it will shutter to make room for a new concept coming this fall. Details are still scare, but Kyoo Eom (Poste's executive chef since 2014) will continue to lead the kitchen.
3) GEORGETOWN: A Facebook message indicates J. Paul's has closed "until further notice" following a kitchen fire. They're working to reopen as quickly as possible.
