Biting Back

Baan Thai was not having the 1 star Yelp review user Michelle S. left for the restaurant, which claimed the "regular" Thai items on the menu are "hidden," and knocked the place's no substitutions policy. The manager responded, "We don't 'hide the 'regular Thai items'. We simply don't sell them at all....I have to admit, getting called terrible for doing what made us popular kind of stings....Here's an article talking about some of the most authentic Thai restaurants in Washington, DC...You might want to avoid them." Up on the roof

Here's a festive event idea — cocktail classes on the roof. Art & Soul is hosting onewith bartenders Jo-Jo Valenzuela and Jamie MacBain on the 15th.
