Picnic Momofuku-style

Momofuku CCDC is offering a picnics-to-go deal available Friday-Sunday during the summer months (call 24 hours ahead). The Momo Picnic ($50, serves 2) features steamed buns, salad and two rice or noodle bowls, while the Fried Chicken Picnic ($100, serving 4) has fried chicken, kimchi coleslaw, smashed potatoes, and biscuits. Both come with cookies and lemonade.

Biting Back

This is pretty great — Compass Rose is hosting an evening of restaurant industry folks reading their worst reviews on June 21. Such industry members as Derek Brown from The Columbia Room, Jonathan Fain from Bar Pilar, and Elizabeth Parker from Le Diplomate will participate.
