Shake Shack has a new burger, and it's all about the bacon.
The Bacon CheddarShack goes on sale tomorrow, at all D.C. locations except Nats Park. It's priced at $6.89 for a single and $9.69 for a double. The Angus beef burger is topped with smoked Niman Ranch bacon and Wisconsin aged cheddar cheese sauce.
The last new burger to debut locally was the Roadside Shack last summer. Shake Shack tends to stick to a fairly small, basic menu for a fast food chain. D.C. diners were introduced to its chicken sandwichlast January, as well as a limited time spin-off chicken sandwich from chef Erik Bruner-Yang in April.
D.C. locations are also serving a limited-edition concrete called The Doughnuts Are Forever, a collaboration with Astro Doughnuts, tomorrow.
