D.C. and the surrounding area continues to see restaurant growth happening at a rapid pace.
Eater tracked around 75 restaurants debuting this spring (between March 20 and yesterday; today marks the first day of summer). Major openings this season included such restaurants as Kyirisan from Tim Ma, Metier from Eric Ziebold, Alta Strada and Conosci from Michael Schlow, Whaley's over in Navy Yard, Buttercream Bakeshop and All-Purpose in Shaw, and ramen shop Bantam King.
