Founding Farmers has continued to work its public relations campaign following the zero-star review it received earlier this month. After first responding on social media after the article, the restaurant posted a video and lengthy statement about "what it means to be farmer-owned" yesterday. Owner Dan Simon told the Washington Business Journal the statement wasn't a formal response to the review, but also said Tom Sietsema's piece had both "legitimate criticisms" and "unfair personal attacks." Sietsema responded that he doesn't know Simon personally and did his due diligence when filing the review. [Official/WBJ]
