The MGM casino opening later this year at National Harbor has snagged two more restaurants for its lineup.
A seafood restaurant called Pappas Crabcakes, as well as a location of Shake Shack, will both open at the casino. The former is a well-known crab cakes destination which has been around for about 40 years in Baltimore, while the latter is Danny Meyer's burger joint, which has several locations throughout the region.
The two restaurants join a whole slate of food destinations bound for MGM, from a large food hall with multiple vendors to celebrity chef-driven restaurants from such chefs as Marcus Samuelsson and Bryan Voltaggio. The casino is expected to open during the fourth quarter of 2016.
