The country is about to get a second location of Crumbs & Whiskers.

D.C.'s first (and only, at least for now) cat cafe is expanding to Los Angeles. The cafe announced its move in a Facebook video today. UPDATE: Owner Kanchan Singh tells Eater they will open in the fall at 7924 Melrose Ave.

Crumbs & Whiskers opened almost exactly a year ago in Georgetown. It's located at 3211 O St. NW. It's facilitated around 85 adoptions since its debut.

Los Angeles has seen some cat-cafe pop-ups and Kickstarter campaigns, but does not have a permanent cat cafe presently (they do, however, have a puppy cafe).
