Bethesda is getting a new location for Spanish tapas.

TapaBar, from the owners of hot dog destination Bold Bite and 202 Donuts, will open at 4901 A Fairmont Ave. in Bethesda. The restaurant will serve dishes like montadito sandwihces, smoked octopus with a cauliflower puree, a full menu of gin and tonic variations, and more. The restaurant’s Spanish influences will also be seen in the design. A September opening is the target, and the aim is to keep prices affordable.

The restaurant is owned by brothers Alonso and Alvaro Roche, who both have spent time working and living in Spain.
