Manager partner Daniel Kramer confirms to Eater that Duke's Counter officially opened today at 10 a.m. The new restaurant had a soft opening over the weekend.

This is the second location from the owners of the British-inspired Duke's Grocery. It's in the former Zoo Bar space in Woodley Park near the National Zoo.

The menu includes several dishes from Duke's Grocery like the burrata with honey, truffle oil, and pancetta, the Proper burger, and the Masala wrap with curried chicken salad. There are also fries on the menu thanks to the addition of a deep fryer.

Both the bar and the draft system are much larger, so there's a broader selection of beer and spirits. Expect bottomless brunch, patio seating and live music will be along later this summer. Duke's Counter will be opened seven days a week.
