Heidi Kabath has taken on the role of Pastry Chef for the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner.

The chef has worked for the hotel company in various roles since 2005. Her appointment comes at a time of change for the hotel, which is in the midst of a major renovation that includes both the hotel and its club lounge. Changes there are expected to be completed in the fall.

Meanwhile, chef Chris Johnson is also revamping the menu at the hotel's Entyse Wine Bar & Lounge to have more of an emphasis on shared plates and global flavors. The hotel is also home to restaurant America Eats Tavern from Jose Andres.
