Pizza lovers, rejoice: Many menus around town now tout a 50 percent off deal on entire pies. Some limit the special to happy hour at the bar, while others pick a certain day to slice the price in two. Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. each have some strong contenders when it comes to the super sale on pies.

The Deal: Half-price pizza pops up throughout the week at this 14th Street spot. Their version is a 12" with crispy thin crust made from housemade dough (spicy grilled shrimp, meatball, mushroom are in the mix).

The liberty tree

The deal: Every Tuesday, all of its brick over pizzas are 50 percent off. That means the Casino (baby clams, roasted garlic, bacon, spinach, pecorino romano, white sauce) and the Godfather (spicy meatballs, bacon, onions, smoked gouda, mozzarella, tomato sauce) are just $7 apiece.
