Bethesda neighborhood bar Caddies on Cordell has been sold to a new owner.Bethesda Magazine reports Ashish Alfred is the new owner for the bar at 4922 Cordell Ave. (he owns 4935 Kitchen and Duck Duck Goose). The bar will keep its name, close for at least a week during the transition, and open with a revamped menu. [BM]

Ris’s new brunch menu has an interesting twist: popsicle mimosas. Diners can get them bottomless for $20 during the restaurants DJ brunch service on Sundays. Flavors range from watermelon-mint to pineapple-orange-ginger There’s also a new bar brunch deal that gets diners classic bottomless mimosa service and an entree for $28.
