1) NATIONAL HARBOR: The MGM Casino coming to National Harbor has announced two new cocktail venues to join the various offerings slated for the project. Felt Bar & Lounge will have DJs, a terrace with a fire pit and cocktails, while Blossom Cocktail Lounge will have 24-hour gaming, beers, and festive shooters, among other offerings. [PLYWOOD]

2) DOWNTOWN: Looks like another Sweetgreen is on the way to 888 17th St. NW. [PLYWOOD]

3) ALEXANDRIA: The Italian Place appears to be close to opening at 621 Wythe Street, Patch reports. This is mostly a retail project, but they’ll also have sandwiches and some prepared items. [POST-PLYWOOD]

4) TYSONS CORNER: Fogo de Chao, the Brazilian steakhouse chain, is opening in Tysons Corner. 1775 Tysons Blvd. is its destination, Washington Business Journal reports. [PLYWOOD]

5) CAPITOL HILL: Looks like a project from the owners of Arlington Spanish restaurant SER will be taking over the Sona Creamery space. [PLYWOOD]

6) OAKTON: A wine shop in Oakton is adding a restaurant component. Oakton Wine Shop and Bistro will be a small plates place, come fall. [POST-PLYWOOD]
