Washington City Paper has some more details on the Southeast Asian restaurant that Restaurant Eve’s Cathal Armstrong is planning for the Wharf development in Southwest D.C. It will be called Kaliwa, and serve Filipino, Thai, and Korean dishes. A fall 2017 opening is planned (Armstrong’s restaurant group is also at work on a rum distillery and tiki bar at the development from mixologist Todd Thrasher). [WCP]
