Continental Pool Lounge is opening a new beer garden. It will be located in the same park area where there’s periodically been a pop-up beer garden, ARLNOW says. There’s 4,000 square feet of space to work with there. They’ll serve sausages and snacks, and local and German beers. It won’t open until next year, though. [ARLNOW]
The right to protest
Advocates are working through court channels to maintain the right to protest in a space outside the Trump Hotel project downtown. The suit claims the group has been stonewalled when trying to get information on what access the public will have to the plaza outside the Old Post Office Pavilion once the hotel debuts. The hotel is about five weeks away from opening.
