Tierney Plumb IN as Eater D.C. Associate Editor

She's a veteran of several Eater sites

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

Eater is pleased to announce that Tierney Plumb is the new associate editor of Eater D.C.

Tierney has been a contributor to the Eater network since 2013, writing and guest editing for the San Francisco, San Diego, and D.C. sites. She recently relocated back to the area after spending several years working as a journalist in California. In addition to her many bylines for Eater, her work has appeared in such publications as the Washington Business Journal, San Diego Daily Transcript, WorkDesign Magazine, Motley Fool, and Bisnow.

While living on the West Coast, Tierney's food-related adventures included dining next to the late Robin Williams at Chateau Marmont, going salmon fishing around the Golden Gate Bridge, nabbing a seat at Alice Waters' Chez Panisse, and sampling pigs brains in San Francisco. She is a lover of carbohydrates, from pasta to pizza.

Tierney replaces Meredith Bethune, who is moving overseas. She starts in the position today, and can be reached at tierney@eater.com.
