1) CLARENDON: According to permits, a pizza parlor called Stone Hot Pizza is headed to 1200 N. Irving Street. It already has a few local locations. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

2) DUPONT CIRCLE: The rolled ice cream trend will hit D.C. with the arrival of Icy Code at 2029 P St. NW (where the whimsical Thomas Foolery used to be). Signage is up. [PLYWOOD]

3) ROCKVILLE: It won’t be until 2017, but Rockville may be getting a new brewery called True Respite Brewing. They’re seeking investors and don’t have a location yet, though. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

4) ADAMS MORGAN: Different Pizza will be the next tenant at 1764 Columbia Road. Pizza, potentially of the Jumbo Slice variety, and fried chicken will be on the menu. An opening could come later this month. [PLYWOOD]

5) DUPONT CIRCLE: New ownership means eventually the St. Gregory Hotel will get a new restaurant, a Mediterranean place called Tredici. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

6) DOWNTOWN: Some more details have emerged about Sushi Gakyu, opening downtown from the chef behind Bethesda’s Yuzu. December will mark the opening at 1420 New York Ave. There will be seating for 67 (plus an outdoor patio), as well as a chef’s table. [PLYWOOD]
