Tapas and not tapas

Barred in D.C. has a few more details on the new restaurant coming to Eastern Market from the owners of Arlington Spanish restaurant SER. Joselito will serve Spanish-influenced dishes each available in a variety of sizes, from tapas to family style. The small menu will feature about 10 cold items and 10 hot ones; construction has not yet begun. This is going in the space that used to house Sona at 660 Pennsylvania Ave. SE. [BiDC]

Pupatella at home

Don’t feel like dealing with the tiny parking lot at Pupatella in Arlington every time a pie craving hits? Take a bunch of their frozen pies home instead. Four varieties of small pies are available, priced $10-$11. They’re at the restaurant and at a few retail outlets like The Italian Store. [AM]
